I am Dorian “Fancy Flossie” Wright, BA. As a homeschooling mother and advocate, I bring hands-on experience and a compassionate understanding of families navigating education. A former 7th and 8th grade social studies teacher, I am also a historian with a Bachelor of Arts in History, specializing in African American and Africana studies. As a museum creator and curator, I craft engaging learning experiences that illuminate the past and empower the present. I am a former member of the Kentucky Education Association, and I firmly believe that a mind is a terrible thing to waste, and that liberation comes through education.
